We typically recommend an initial orthodontic evaluation around the age of seven, when we’re able to detect any issues that might require early correction. However, it’s most common that treatment will not begin until between ages 12 and 16, when most of the permanent teeth are in. All the same, it’s never too late to get started on a healthier, more attractive and confident smile.
