- Answer any questions you have
An early orthodontic evaluation is encouraged beginning at age seven, and we care for patients of all ages. Contact us to schedule your free initial consultation today!
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE INITIAL CONSULTATION?
You’re one step closer to achieving the confident, healthy smile you’ve always wanted! If the timing is right to begin active orthodontic treatment, we will schedule your first appointment which generally takes about an hour. Your doctor will place your new orthodontic appliance and review diet, hygiene, and special care instructions.
Throughout your orthodontic treatment, you will visit the office every eight to ten weeks to optimize treatment progression. We have convenient office locations and hours to easily fit most schedules. Just let us know what times and dates work best for you!
We understand that “life happens”! If you’re running late or need to reschedule an appointment, please contact us so we can accommodate your needs.
VISITING THE DENTIST DURING ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT
It is very important that you continue to visit your family dentist once every six months during your orthodontic treatment, for cleanings and routine dental checkups. If extra dental care is needed, we are happy to coordinate with your family dentist to make sure that you are receiving the best care possible.
Only you can keep your teeth healthy and straight after your orthodontic treatment! When your active treatment is complete, you will have retainers to wear on a set schedule – typically each night. Without retainers teeth may shift, which can lead to additional treatment and expense. Replacement retainers are available as needed, to ensure you keep your beautiful smile and healthy bite for years to come!
